انتخابات مارس وأبريل 2019 : اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات تنسق مع البلديات على مستوى الجزر الثلاث
في مهمة شملت جميع البلاد من يوم 16-19 و برفقة من اللجان الانتخابية المختصة بكل جزيرة التقى مكتب اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات على التوالي بالعشرين عمدة من جزيرة أنجوان والست عمد من جزيرة موهيلي والثمانية وعشرين عمدة من جزيرة القمر الكبرى ( انغزيجا) لإيجاد شراكة بين البلديات واللجنة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات فيما يتعلق بالأنشطة المختلفة للعملية الانتخابية.
ولم يشر قانون الانتخاب صراحة عن مشاركة البلديات في إجراء الأنشطة الانتخابية إلا أنه في هدف إنجاز اللجنة مهمتها عملت على خلق هذه الصلة، التي لا غنى عنها، بين البلديات والمؤسسة الانتخابية وذلك لتحسين سير العمليات الانتخابية لمواطني البلديات
وطلب من العمد في تلك اللقاءات اختيار مستشار بلدية لتعينه مع كل بعثة انتخابية على مستوى كل بلدية.
وفي نهاية كل لقاء في أي جزيرة تم وضع نقطة تنسيق انتخابي على مستوى كل بلدية
وستعمل تلك النقاط، التي لن تكون بديلا عن اللجان الخاصة بالبلدية ولا عن اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة، ستعمل وسيطا بين البلدية والهيئة المسؤولة عن إدارة الانتخابات حول نقل وتلقي كل المعلومات المتعلقة بالانتخابات؛ كمرافقة اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات في عمليات تحديث الملف الانتخابي ( تحويل، أموات، مسجلين جدد) ومرافقة كل الأنشطة الميدانية المتعلقة بكشوفات الناخبين؛ التسهيل والتعاون في توعية الناخبين على مستوى البلدية ودعم القوات المكلفة بحماية الانتخابات في مهمتها بالبلدية ، ومرافقة اللجنة الانتخابية للجزيرة في تنظيم الانتخابات على مستوى البلدية، وتلكم من بين المهمات.
ومن ثم تم تحديد 54 مستشار بلدية كنقطة تنسيق من اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة وكممثل في البلدية عن شؤون الانتخابات. ومن بين الأنشطة الأولية التي تؤكد تلك الشراكة هي عرض القوائم النهائية للناخبين على مستوى التجمعات السكانية (البلدات) بداية من الجمعة 18 يناير 2019
